The brain has two sides. The left side is our analytical thinking side and the right our creative and feeling side. Both are needed and neither is more important than the other. Current western thinking values the thinking whereas ancient societies valued the feeling.
With health we need to both think and feel. And especially when dealing with modern stress, having the ability to contemplate is valuable.
