Sunflower seeds are insanely delicious AND nutritious. They’re super easy and affordable to make.
To Prepare:
1. Soak 1 cup (or more!) of sunflower seeds in water overnight.
2. Strain and rinse them the next day, then pour out onto a lined baking tray and sprinkle with turmeric powder and dried garlic granules (or powder).
3. Pop in a pre-heated oven at 150C (300F) and roast for 20 minutes.
4. Remove once ready and leave to cool, then use to top salads and soups – eat them anytime you need a little crunch!
These little golden seeds of deliciousness are loaded with Vitamin E, Copper, B-Vitamins including thiamine, phosphorus and selenium, PLUS, they’re packed with fantastic plant protein – 1oz (28g) = 5g of protein!
