Okay.
What’s the difference between a conspiracy theory and a fact? About six months and closing. January has been a real start-the-year-with-a-bang month. We’ve seen two major developments regarding COVID. If you’re watching this on YouTube, you might find that it gets censored or bleeped. Consider going over to Spotify or Apple instead.
We’ve seen the preemptive pardoning of Doctor Anthony Fauci. I had not previously heard of a preemptive pardon for anybody. Obviously, it exists, and I’m not sure that he and others who received them are the first. It raises a very, very obvious question: What is he being pardoned for? And it was a blanket pardon going back to 2014, covering any act that he could be prosecuted for over the last 10 years. He has automatically been pardoned.
There is a saying that you shouldn’t have to worry if you haven’t done anything wrong. I’m not sure that always holds because we see many people prosecuted who haven’t done anything wrong. Yes, they may end up being found not guilty, but the process itself becomes the punishment. We see this in different areas, particularly with tribunals rather than courts of law. Innocent people have been found guilty wrongly, and while some convictions are later overturned, the damage is done.
Pardoning people who have been found guilty can sometimes be justified if it’s felt that they’ve either served enough time or were wrongly convicted. However, a preemptive pardon raises the very big question: Why did Doctor Anthony Fauci need to be pardoned? What has he done that might prompt an investigation? The official version states that he would be prosecuted for political reasons. I don’t actually buy that. Some of you may, and you are entitled to your opinions, which is fair enough. But I don’t buy it.
The other major development—and I’ll come back to Fauci in a moment—is that the CIA has officially conceded that the virus came from a lab. I think a lot of people have known that for quite a while because, logically speaking, you’ve got a virology lab in Wuhan, and you have a virus that starts in Wuhan. The narrative that it came from a bat, a pangolin, or a wet market was always a cover-up.
Why was there a cover-up? During the Obama administration, gain-of-function research was banned by President Obama. It is claimed—and I have no reason to doubt this, though I haven’t seen the documentation—that Doctor Anthony Fauci circumvented that rule by funding the EcoHealth Alliance, which in turn funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Laboratory.
In February 2020, when the virus was first emerging and spreading rapidly, several scientists and biologists were concerned that it had come from the lab. Leaked emails have shown that there was a concerted effort by Fauci and Francis Collins to suppress that view. They went as far as labelling it a conspiracy theory, and anyone suggesting that it came from a lab was censored. People had their Facebook accounts cancelled. You weren’t even allowed to suggest that it was a possibility.
The WHO got involved. Who influences the WHO? The CCP.
Why would Doctor Anthony Fauci go to these lengths? A paper titled The Natural Causes Paper was quickly put together to support the claim that the virus came from animal sources (zoonotic origins). Fauci was desperate to disprove the lab origin theory. Why? Because his fingerprints might have been on it.
Now, maybe they weren’t, but if we don’t have an inquiry, we’ll never know. The fact that he has been pardoned doesn’t mean Congress can’t continue to investigate him. He could still be called before Congress. One commentator noted that a federal pardon doesn’t mean individual states can’t pursue investigations. The world needs to know—not just the American people, but the entire world. Hopefully, we will get more information.
I understand that it’s been five years, and people want to move on from COVID. I get it. I feel the same way. But history teaches us that if we don’t learn from the past, we are doomed to repeat it. Accountability is necessary. The WHO needs to be held accountable. The CCP won’t be, but they should be. And if individuals or agencies knew that the virus came from a lab, or funded gain-of-function research in defiance of President Obama’s directives, then they must be held accountable.
The damage has been immense. Lives have been lost. Mental health issues have surged. Cancer diagnoses were delayed. People were not even allowed to ask simple questions or express opinions. Believe the science, they said. Fauci claimed he was the science. But science advances by questioning what we currently believe. If no one had questioned the belief that the world was flat, we’d still think it was flat.
Interestingly, in the same week, the CIA conceded the virus’s origins, and Fauci received a pardon. Coincidence?
But the news doesn’t stop there. In the United States, a Presidential Executive Order has stopped puberty blockers and transition surgery for minors under 18. In Queensland, Australia, the government has paused these procedures while an inquiry is conducted.
It’s fascinating to see the reaction from those outraged by this. These same people demand we believe the science but refuse to let anyone question their data or methods. Can we see your data? Can you explain your conclusions? No, no, no. That’s not allowed.
I would encourage listeners to follow Michael Shellenberger on Substack Public. He and his team were behind the WPATH Files, which, through leaked emails, whistleblowers, and real data analysis, exposed the weak foundations of transgender medical care. WPATH and its affiliates have been pushing an agenda based on little to no evidence. If the evidence is there, then fine—let’s see it. But the work done by Shellenberger and others, as well as the Cass Review in the UK, shows that the evidence isn’t there.
We need to do what’s best for children with mental health issues. Are puberty blockers and life-altering surgeries the best approach? Are comorbidities like autism, Asperger’s, and anxiety being overlooked? These are legitimate questions.
It’s also a major issue that this can all be done without parental consent. Consider anorexia nervosa, a severe condition where individuals wrongly believe they are overweight. No doctor affirms their belief and offers them bariatric surgery. Instead, they are told they need help. That is the correct approach. So why is this the one area where belief is blindly affirmed without questioning alternative diagnoses? This contradicts standard medical practice, which relies on differential diagnosis and multiple treatment options.
We live in interesting times. But when haven’t times been interesting? Every generation believes their time is uniquely turbulent. Still, 2025 seems to be bringing significant changes—especially regarding medical practices, ideological dominance, and the suppression of questions.
This has already been a monumental month for challenging blind faith in dogma. That’s a good thing. Let’s see what the rest of the year brings.
